I've been struggling with some personal stuff during lockdown.

There was a friendship that wasn't right and I *knew* what I had to do to make it right.

But I just couldn't get together the strength, the courage, the honesty to sort it out.

And, you know, there was a pandemic and lockdown so I sort of had an excuse.

Well anyway. I don't want to speak too soon. But today I think I finally - if I may be permitted a dated Americanism - whupped the ass of that particular problem.

I whupped it good and proper.

I'm not drinking right now but Twitter, please have a gin for me.
