@Twitter’s biggest proem is a lack of context. The common objection to edit tweets shows this. Tweets by nature of their brevity require you to always be completely caught up in everything happening.
The number of times I see a tweet and think to myself “WTF is this in reference to?” And then have to go google a bunch of stuff to find out is incredible.
I think this is the very reason twitter becomes and anger echo chamber. Tweets forbid nuance. We’re all left thinking the worst interpretation. Or worse, left wondering what people are even talking about.

And threads don’t solve this problem.
Case in point, this thread is a response to a few tweets I saw in my feed today all referencing the same thing. But you have no idea what I’m referencing or what justifies my opinion on this. Because twitter lacks context.

If context is for Kings, Twitter is for peasants.
