Movies - acting - a difficult profession. Totally uncertain. I had a young patient who has acted in a couple of Kannada movies in small roles and a couple small budget movies as a hero. Few days back he called me saying he is working as Swiggy delivery boy. #movies #Acting

His girlfriend left him. His mom is totally worried bcos he’s very passsionate about acting and depressed bcos he’s not getting roles. He comes from a middle class family. He’s ready to work without remuneration also but still not getting roles !

So many such stories must be around in this field. We know those which are in limelight and those whom we know personally. Rest all are fighting such uphill battles in life which we don’t know about at all.

Sports and acting are two fields where the number of people making it good are so few among those who try.. rest all vanish into obscurity and into some alternate professions if lucky.
