There is a universal truth out there, reality is a real place where things most definitely happen even if people would like to believe mumbo jumbo like it's a simulation or all in our heads and we have crazy reality manipulating powers like in that movie/book The secret

Even toned down bizarre ideas like The Celestine prophecy which are more religious in nature are dangerous, back at occupy Kingston I recall someone being very angry to see the book, saying it made someone they knew go off the deep end. The secret is no different fundamentally

It involves the same delusions of grandeur, confusing coincidence with everything fate & superpowers. The secret just works better for douchebags who can function in society because they don't believe they can disappear from this reality and transcended to heaven

The point of this thread however is more simple. Yes there are always two or more sides to a story, both could be inaccurate, only one could be true, and in complicated situations full of assumptions both sides might be true, but that doesn't change how our universe works

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, of course it makes a sound. There is never nothing around to hear it, even microorganisms will feel the vibrations. There's only one true sequence of events that we all live in, some interpretations are hazy

so I challenge you to thoroughly judge and critique any statement I have to make anyone, and determine for yourself whether or not you think it is true. Whether you come to the correct conclusion or not, it does not change what really happened in the past. Good luck & be safe!
