Do you guys also borrow yourselves money?

Like - take money from your savings, uthi "I'll put it back month end"? 🙈🙈🙈

Or do you starve yourself to death kodwa unemali kwi savings? 🤣😩💔
I'm asking because - I realise a lot of us do this. And the popular view is "starve yourself", while you've got "money".... I believe in being accountable to myself,
So when I "borrow" myself money, I treat it like any other debt I have - I pay it back, with 5 percent interest or fine. This way - I think twice about tapping into my savings.

Also - another form of accountability is "needs and wants" assessment. D
Do you really need it? Eg basic things like - I ran out of food to COOK. not I FEEL LIKE TAKEAWAYS.

See, there's a thin line in those. Takeaways aren't a need. You've got groceries, pheka. You like burgers? Make your own at home. Budget a cheat day or 2 - where you "eat out"
😂 I want a new pair of shoes and I'm getting paid on Thursday 🤭 and I had those shoes on my July budget. But seems like Thursday I might get there ziphelile. So I'm gonna take out money on my savings 😊 this is important. It's a need. If I don't get those shoes - I'll die 😔😔
Thank you guys for coming through to my money talk session 🤣 let's do better
