Okay this is my Haikyuu brain fart thread for today
(Disclaimer: I spent the whole day doing schoolwork shit and my neurons are all over the place rn, scrambled eggs)

[SPOILER ALERT HQ MANGA Sorryyy]
I think at this point thereâs only two things we havenât seen post-timeskip Hinata do yet:
- Super speed broad attack (like what he used to do in Karasuno)
- Service ace
He already showed us heâs ninja-levels defender, setter, & OP hitter

[hq manga spoiler alert]
I honestly believe that Haikyuu will end soon. Probably a few chapters after 400 (405? 410 just to close everything up?) & the news about the Haikyuu light novels just made me more sure of it (altho we wonât really know until Furudate-sensei says so).

Big matches in Haikyuu are usually 30-40 chapters long (think Seijoh, Shiratorizawa, Inarizaki, & Nekoma. The Kamomedai one was cut short since Hinata got the fever). This pro-match is one of the biggest in the series, where we get to see the generation of monsters on parade.
I think for the remaining chapters, maybe weâll get to see Hinata do some broad attacks again and be the decoy he used to be. He must be even faster now compared to his high school days, and remember that not everyone in the Adlers team has seen him be all I AM SPEED.
And finally FINALLY maybe weâll get some service aces from Hinata to win the fourth set (similar to what Yuji Nishida did in that one game).
I think an upset win [Sets 3-1] against the Schweiden Adlers (reigning 3-year champions of the Kurowashiki) will be a parallel to that upset in the Spring Tournament (where Inarizaki was everyoneâs favorite to win the entire thing but they lost their first match to Karasuno).
// if youâre reading this thread and u donât agree with me izayt!! We can have diff opinions I respect that
these are just my two cents, and itâs okay if Iâm completely wrong when the next chapters come out

Not just that but I think a match upset would REALLY settle the score between Hinata & Kageyama. An ultimate victory like that (Adlers not even getting a 5th set) would show just how much of a formidable player Hinata has become.
Remember that the Black Jackals lost to the Alders in the last years despite having 3 players from the monster generation (Sakusa, Atsumu, & Bokuto), and now with Hinata in the mix they would finally beat the champions at the game.
As for the Olympics arc, I really hope weâll get to see that, since thereâs still that promise from Oikawa that heâll beat everyone, but I think itâll either be an epilogue, or it will be a part of the light novels.
[imma put the spoiler alert again just in case] I donât think weâll get a V League arc fleshed out though. For me the explanation of character occupations and stuff was more of a send-off for them â
â to show that some of them are out there playing pro while the others are studying or working and getting on with their lives while still having passion and love for the sport.
// end!! These are all speculations and we wonât know until the chapters come out but Furudate is the GOAT
and a GENIUS so Iâm sure weâll love whatever his god hands create.

// yâall this is literally just brain vomit I love haikyuu so much that I get preoccupied by random thoughts like this //
