Y’all still don’t know what to rename NC State buildings that are named after white supremacists when Candy from Tuffy’s has been in front of YALL FOR YEARS?!!

But for real, State named Daniels Hall after Josephus Daniels, a white supremacist, because he was very supportive of the engineering program. WELL why doesn’t the university rename it after Robert Clemons, the first Black graduate to get a degree from State! His degree was in EE

While we are at it, why doesn't NC State name a building after Ellen McGuire? A woman who was born into slavery on a North Carolina Plantation. After the Civil War, she worked for State for 50 YEARS.

OR what about Justina Williams, NC State's first female Black academic staff member? She worked in the Department of of Genetics. Many historians at the university have said that her work was constantly undermined by her white colleagues or they often took the credit for her work

and of course, what about Dorothy Williams? She was the first Black instructor at State with faculty ranking!!

ALSO! Norma Garcia Wright! She was the first Black woman at State to receive her undergraduate degree. It was in History <3
