Funny how "separate the art from the artist" is only used to defend predatory men. Films by men who rape and abuse remain canon.
But a woman voices her opinion against obvious misogyny, and she's boycotted more than Weinstein. https://twitter.com/TheMoominmama/status/1275069970586537984
French director Luc Besson modeled Natalie Portman's character in "Leon the Professional" after his first wife, who he impregnated at 14 and married at 15. There's never been outrage over that.

No one is boycotting Tarantino, or taking a pause on films produced by Weinstein, in spite of the documented abuse by both. No one cared when Bill Murray beat his wife.
But #JKRowling expresses her thoughts? Narcissistic outrage ensues. Clearly the gender movement hates women.
Roman Polanski's films are still taught in film classes, even though he drugged and raped a girl and fled the country.
#JKRowling expressed concern for children's well-being, stood up for women, and ♂️ who identify as ♀️ tell her to s*ck their d*ck. This is framed as progressive.
Harry Potter was inspired by #JKRowling's life experience with pain, censorship, facism.
The entire HP series is an analogy for dictatorship, and those condemning her are participating in the very thing she fights against.
