This Father& #39;s Day was a special time to reflect on fatherhood and all dads do to care. So, what does fatherhood currently look like during #COVID19? What& #39;s changing? https://cnn.it/2V7jarb ">https://cnn.it/2V7jarb&q...
Thanks for sharing your thoughts @DadCookTaxiRef and @thejohhnybrand. Yes, the role of fathers has certainly expanded in recent decades. We released a new report on today& #39;s modern dads, how they care, & what make it hard to be the dads they want to be. https://www.newamerica.org/better-life-lab/reports/engaged-dads-and-opportunities-and-barriers-equal-parenting-united-states/">https://www.newamerica.org/better-li...
This thread by @HaleySSwenson highlights some of the top-line findings from the report, "Engaged Dads and the Opportunities for and Barriers to Equal Parenting in the United States." https://twitter.com/HaleySSwenson/status/1273274218692530184?s=20">https://twitter.com/HaleySSwe...
One of the findings: Dads were also as likely as moms to say they value the work of caregiving and consider it important--as much as paid work outside the home. They& #39;re also proud of their role as fathers and consider it an important part of being a man.
Our latest report, "Engaged Dads and the Opportunities for and Barriers to Equal Parenting in the United States." is part of a series on Men and Care. Last year, we released a report on men, paid leave, & the obstacles that stand in the way of taking it. https://www.newamerica.org/better-life-lab/reports/lifting-barriers-paid-family-and-medical-leave-men-united-states/">https://www.newamerica.org/better-li...
