Struggling to find exactly the best way to react to what I’m hearing from the Irish comedy scene this week. So... 25 years ago, (for me) it was supportive and collegiate, the right sort of competitive and a mad adventure, and that’s the way starting comedy should be. If not (1/n)

If NOT... if you’re stopping that adventure, or making people feel isolated or lonely, or abusing people and any of the other shitty things we’ve been hearing, then get the fuck out of the way. This is tough enough thing to try without arseholes adding extra obstacles. 2/n

To all the women who have shared stories, I can only hope you can still find among that support, that collegiality and right sort of competition and yes, the mad, happy adventure of this silly job; and I look forward to hearing you onstage soon x 3/n
