My Alma Mater, Howell High School, has listened to our demands to get rid of the Rebel Mascot, because of its blaring racist history, being based on the Confederate Rebel. They have opened submissions for a re-design!

They are apparently still going by the Rebels. That being said, I think there’s a serious opportunity here to choose other rebellious figures in order to have this Mascot stand for Justice and Diversity.
