Some of your Tweets SUCK 👎

(and you know that)..

Let me teach you a lesson:

• How to Revive your Tweets 🚑
• Why Deleting Tweets is Needed ❌

{THREAD}
1.

Understand this:

~ Tweets don’t underperform for just “no reason”..

Figure out why 🔍

—> Could it have been worded better?

—> Was it a bad time of day?

—> Was it ‘really’ as good as you think it was?

* Ask yourself these questions..

(cont..)
2.

Sometimes your tweets will be absolute GOLD 🔥

—> But they’ll perform like shit.

In my experience..

It’s all depended on HOW my tweets are worded..

People like tweets that are:

- Short
- Witty
- Relable
- Unique
3.

Re-write your tweets 📝

If one of your “gold” tweets absolutely flops:

a.) Screenshot it
b.) Figure out “why”
c.) Rewrite it using the 4 criteria above

(cont..)
4.

If it continues to underperform..

It’s probably not as good as you think..

—> Hence the importance of:

❌ DELETING BAD TWEETS ❌

👇
5.

Ask yourself this..

“Why should I be deleting my bad tweets❓

—> Although the answer may be obvious..

Think about it this way 👇
6.

If I tweet 10 times/day..
6 of them blow up..
and 4 suck..

I delete those 4.

——> Now ANY time a new person checks my profile..

They ONLY see tweets that are GOLD 🔥

Instant follow ✅

(cont..)
7.

Not to mention:

- Looking more consistent
- Added credibility
- Less clutter

—> We always hear that our “profiles must be optimized”..

But no one ever mentions THIS ☝️ part of your profile..
8.

Imagine someone clicks over to your profile..

And ONLY sees the tweets that have gotten 40-50 Likes and a bunch of RT’s..

** They’ll appreciate your content and there’s a HUGE chance they’ll follow 👀

—> Add in a high-quality bio and cover, and you’re SET 🔥
9.

So how do you know “when” to delete a tweet?

Well that part gets tricky..

If you tweet enough, you should know what kind of engagement is adequate.

Here’s how I make a determination 👇
10.

When you post a tweet..

YOUR followers are the FIRST people who see it.. (duh)

After it gets some engagement..

It’ll start being shown to your FOLLOWER’s followers..

Make sense?

(cont..)
11.

Personally, I like to maintain between a 10-15% engagement rate between 0-2000 impressions..

Why?

Because I have 2000 followers and they know “me”.. so they ‘should’ engage with me..

(cont..)
12.

After the tweet has gotten engagement..

It’s “okay” for the engagement % to decrease..

.. because your tweet is NOW being shown to people who do NOT follow you..

(meaning there’s a greater chance they will NOT interact with you..)

(cont..)
13.

If your tweet is getting poor engagement right off the bat..

Then you can assume that even your OWN followers aren’t engaging with it..

Meaning it’s probably time to scrap it 🗑
14.

This thread is EXACTLY why I check my analytics so often..

Is it a problem?

Probably lmao..

——> But I’m a numbers guy, and I LOVE analyzing impressions VS engagement..
15.

This thread wasn’t supposed to be this long 😅

But there’s some info in here that some of you haven’t even considered before..

—> If you learned something..
- Then I did my job ✅
