i love the image of the crab & its movement to describe cancer.⁠

the crab scurries side-to-side, figuring out where it wants to go & when it needs to hide underground, as its means of travel.⁠

cancer, along with scorpio, wears an exoskeleton to further protect itself.⁠

when you care a lot, you protect a lot, & the sign of cancer sets up clear armor around what it deems valuable, including itself + loved ones.⁠

this time of year draws us back to consider the primordial waters of the womb, & energetically, what the womb of our life entails.⁠

what's comfortable will change, like the moon's cycles or the ocean's tides, but prioritizing the foundations of our relationship with ourselves allows us to navigate life's moodiness with acceptance rather than turmoil.⁠
