Mind you this is coming off the heels of us seeing situations where black girls who needed us were failed bc or lack of resources! I donated & made a suggestion so she could be boosted/helped by others.

I asked my followers to match my donation of $30. @Jennrb90 & @thatsriss did! & I think the tweet I made got about 10 RT’s before I deleted it.

I deleted it bc I received a DM from a friend on here who received that exact same DM!!!

I understand copy/pasting & replying with your cause but that DM she sent me seemed very personal.

This should have been a red flag for me but like I said, my judgement was clouded.

I confronted her. She swiftly unfollowed me. I’m still giving her the benefit of the doubt here.

Go to her TL. Just Rt’s. No personal tweets about what’s going on period. There is still a chance that her story was real & she just went about it the wrong way but chile...

. @Mahottie sent me a DM TODAY & the girl gave her the same exact story. So she’s fucking lying.

Shameless & vile to take advantage of folk’s kindness at a time like this. Pls RT this thread for awareness bc since my first tweet I’ve received 3 other DM’s of ppl saying she’s sent that same story to them within the last few days. Disgusting.
