With all these people coming forward, it might be time for you to consider why a prominent mod or someone high up in a community might have up and left with no explanation. Consider what that means about those in power in that community and what they may have done to members.

Perhaps nobody would believe the person who could accuse. Perhaps they were scared of being a fledgling in this industry and didn’t want to take that risk and tarnish their reputation because of the offender’s 100+ devoted, blind followers that would defend them regardless.

Think long and hard about what is never shared, that is JUST as damning as what is being shared. Things that might be so meticulous as to not leave a paper trail so the abuser can just hide behind their wall of fans and “friends” and be “safe” from allegations. So planned. Think.
