I have a curious question. Since when did Human Rights Watch Groups become military think tanks? A so called NGO said with Nigeria's military arsenal and intelligence capabilities, it is curious that the country is yet to declare total victory over the terrorists.
Last year Amnesty International said "threats from the military won’t deter us from defending human rights". They claimed the Nigerian military is increasingly resorting to threats, intimidation and smears to discredit Amnesty International’s work documenting the human rights
violations. To quote them verbatim

" Rather than taking action to address the issues raised in this report, like investigating countless allegations of rape and war crimes, the Nigerian military has fallen back on its usual hostile tactics of denials and threats.
This coming after a Paris based NGO Action Against Hunger was caught in the forest supplying food and medicine to Boko Haram fighters. Now from what I know if this were to happen anywhere else the aid workers world have been arrested, locked up and a trial date set up. But
Nigeria is not the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea. The aid workers were rather given 48 hours to leave the country. This mirrors the White Helmets in Syria who were caught supplying medicine to injured ISIS fighters. They were rewarded with a Nobel Peace Price in Europe.
That said these guys really ought to get off our case. Last week they were talking about state sponsored genocide. Christians in Nigeria were being systematically slaughtered they claimed. It appears that story isn't flying going by the look of things
Now they are asking why terrorism has not been eradicated. These people are confused to be honest. If anything the Nigerian military should be commended.
In Syria, 67 of the world's most powerful countries united to fight ISIS in the greatest military alliance since world war two. SIXTY SEVEN countries including NATO, with two US Navy aircrafts carriers, the French Carrier Charlse De Gaulle,
..the British with their Tornado and Typhoon jets..all against ISIS. The Obama administration released $500 million to train FIFTY "moderate terrorists"( it is no hyperbole) and sent 4 thousand amoured vehicles to Iraq. The Abram tanks and gold plated Hunvees all fell to ISIS
Nigeria on the other hand has been at war alone against a group that in 2018 was rated the world's deadliest terrorist group. No $500 million in aid, no 4000 tanks and humvees, no aircraft carriers, no tornado jets, no F-18, rather while Obama was funding rebel groups in Syria
.he was blocking arms sale from Israel and other allies to Nigeria.
At the heat of Boko Haram insurgency in 2012 to 2013, the Nigerian military with limited weapon chased Boko Haram out of Abuja and other cities into Sambisa Forest. Despite clandestine subversive activities
Sambisa was captured in 2015. Things went sour when the United States and France decide to set up shop next door. They did not congratulate the Nigerian government for the fall of Sambisa. There was no media coverage. There was no United Nations commendation.
Instead they embarked on the fastest construction of drone bases in each of the countries surrounding Nigeria. They built 6 bases in 8 months!! How do you construction a $120 million drone base every month !!! If that doesn't spook you i dont know what will. Zero benefit
To Nigeria. Till this day they refuse to share Intel. It's been 11 years now. The Nigerian military had never been so engaged in sundry internal security operations as it is now in the history of the nation. It's really hard to comprehend. We've had to deal with saboteuring
..backstabing neighbours. We've been forced to deploy forces to Gambia to restore democratic rule in the midst of our own insurgency. We still have forces in Gambia providing security until the Gambian government can build up it's own security structure.
We are under systemic attacks and subversive operations from Cameroon in the Bakassi area, weapons and fighters are pouring in across the border in the north. Forcing the government to institute a complete border shutdown for the very first time ever to stop the flow of arms
..this provoked retaliatory attacks against Nigerian businesses in our so called anglophone ally Ghana, country that shares no physical border with Nigeria..and just when we have Boko Haram by the throat we have certain interest groups funding and arming
bandits and other criminal elements to open another front to take the heat off Boko Haram. We have so called Human Rights Groups spinning allegations of religious genocide, human rights abuses...while at the same time dropping relief supplies by helicopters to bandits
No Hollywood director will accept script like this. This is chaos on steroids. And just while the government is braving these elements we have internal saboteurs trying to bring down this country from within. We have this "wise guy" who launches a presidential campaign by
Insulting all the contestants.. refuses to campaign vigorously in the east and north and expects to win the presidency by his fan base. He losses the election and calls for a revolution to tear down the country. He is "unjustly" arrested and detained. Scorned, his
Media company is on a personal vendetta to make sure this country burns to the ground and we have gullible Nigerians incapable of thinking rationally because they are bored. They are not dodging bullets or stepping on IEDs..they are calling for war..civil war the better
..if sleeping with Boko Haram is what it takes to tear down this country all the better. We have nut cases like Fani Kayode calling on the UN to sanction and investigate the Nigerian military. We have the self styled "Buhari Tormentor" using the mysery of the war to sell books.
The enemy looks at all of this and say " I don't believe it". Why continue wasting ammunition and risking the lives of our fighters by engaging the military. Avoid the army, hit civilian settlements, kill as many as you can..We have cheer leaders.
