You can short cut Twitter growth

How?

Threads.

I gained 258 followers in 2 days

Just by creating one thread.

Let me show you how inside...

“How to Hack Twitter with Threads”

- A Thread -
Chapter 1:
“Intro to Threads”

You can’t hack Twitter with Threads

Without knowing these principals:

- threads need to have one topic
- threads need to be actionable
- threads need to flow smoothly
- threads need to have order
- threads need to capture attention
Chapter 2:
“The Hook”

Your hook is your entire first tweet

Write an engaging first line but don’t just stop there

Include:

- the topic
- the problem (if it’s a tutorial thread)
- the reason why they should read
- your thread title
- the words “a thread”
Chapter 3:
“The Flow”

Your thread needs to flow from tweet to tweet

You are:

- telling a story
- solving a problem
- teaching a strategy

There should be some kind of order to the thread

Try using:

Chapters
Steps
Chronological times

Tie them all together with titles
Chapter 4:
“Don’t hold back”

Threads are not a place to withhold secrets

If you are writing a thread

Write something so valuable that it’s probably in a course somewhere

The more actionable tips and advice a thread has

The more:

- Comments
- Retweets
- Likes

It will get!
Chapter 5:
“Closure”

There are many ways to end a thread

You can:

- end a thread with a promotion
- end a thread with a shout out
- end a thread with a thank you

I highly recommend a thank you ending

Gratitude goes along way

You want the last tweet to make people like it ❀
Chapter 6:
“Types of Threads”

Choosing the right topic makes a thread worth your time

Try writing:

- Follower # celebration threads
- Twitter growth threads
- Popular topic threads (make money)
- Tutorial threads
- Story threads
- Apprecistion threads

They are proven to work
Chapter 7:
“Examples”

It’s always good to have examples of successful threads to study.

These are some of my favorite threads

Study each one of them

And use them as a reference
Example 1:
“Why your Side Hustle will always outperform your 9 to 5”

By: @FreedomPathGo

This is one of the best examples of flow and content I’ve seen in a thread.

Pros:

- Over 40 Tweets
- Topic is popular
- Value is insane

- The flow
- The content https://twitter.com/freedompathgo/status/1269004100185849869
Example 2:

Example 4:
“My 1st Month in Twitter”

By: Me

I added one of my threads to explain my process

When writing this thread I had a few things in mind

- Use a journey
- Use chronological steps
- Teach through a story

Combining the 3 allowed me to:

- Train while telling a story https://twitter.com/cureincome/status/1273281946408202240
Chapter 8:
“What You Need to Do”

Here’s your challenge:

Write a thread that’s:

- a celebration style
- a tutorial style
- a story style
- an appreciation style

Make it atleast 10 tweets long

Use adequate spacing

Create a great hook

Watch what happens...
