feeling bad for frugal bookstore, the only black-owned shop in boston, who are fighting customer backlash. received over 20k orders since 5/30, 75% for the same 10 titles which all need reprinting. if you want to support a black-owned business, part of that is not being a dick
feels indicative of the way people are wrongly thinking about anti-racism, like, “if i only had this book i would be an anti-racist but until then i am cursed.” just read a different book in the mean time there are lots of books.
