why atsumu and sangwoo shouldn't be compared to one another and why the jokes need to stop: A THREAD

alright let's talk about their similarities. their hair. piss-colored with an undercut. that's it. atsumu doesn't even have the same hair after high school and he finished hs in 2014, while KS was released in 2016, so it's just INVALID. PERIOD.

next, the atsumu that ppl are comparing sangwoo with is the 2nd-year high-schooler atsumu. y'all are really gonna compare a kid in high school to an adult murderer???

while i do hate sangwoo, i think that his character is v interesting and koogi did a great job at creating him, so comparing and making jokes about sangwoo & atsumu rly takes away the uniqueness in both characters

i also think that it's offensive to koogi and furudate, who both have obviously spent a lot of time in building these two characters. if i, for example, wrote about a character who is an archer, i wouldn't want ppl to constantly say they're katniss or smthg

i've seen ppl comment on either atsumu or sangwoo fanart, saying "oh why is atsumu here" or "lol sangwoo". im no artist or anything, but i surely wouldn't want ppl to say that about my art

anyways, moving on, their personalities are worlds apart. atsumu only cares about volleyball and living his own life the way he wants to,, y'know just vibing?? and sangwoo has issues stacked upon other unresolved issues, and he has made others' lives a living hell-

and the only person who is currently tortured by atsumu's existence is sakusa but we all know that sakusa secretly adores atsumu

anyways, at this point in the thread, if you're still thinking "eh it's just for fun" then is it funny for someone to compare, say, your teenage brother to ppl like Ted Bundy just cause they look similar?? no right??

and if you're thinking "oh pls we're talking about fictional characters", pls consider that A LOT of ppl treat fictional characters as their inspiration/idol/comfort character.

and if u think ppl are dumb for doing that, pls know that some ppl don't have good/kind ppl in their life, so that's why they hold on to fictional characters and treat them as humans
