Since when did "Filipinx" became the gender-neutral term for "Pilipino" when it's already a gender-neutral term? No female calls themselves "Filipina" as their nationality 🤨 HOW COME THE WEST KEEPS ON REINVENTING WAYS TO CALL US WHEN OUR WHOLE LANGUAGE IS GENDER NEUTRAL ITSELF?
We don't even have gender specific pronouns like his/her. Learn the vernaculars first and stop using us for your neutrality narrative. Our language has always been neutral for every sex/gender. Use Filipino/Pilipino. Stop using "filipinx". That shit ugly.
Please help the campaign for the kids of Capas, Tarlac especially for the Aeta community! đź’•

Not to invalidate the stories and struggles of our queer Fil-Ams community and Fil-Ams in general. I know you guys are as confuse as we are but for starters, our language, Filipino, is gender neutral. Regardless of the word "Filipino" being spanish in origin, in our language,
in our vernaculars, its neutral as it can be. We don't associate gender in the word "Pilipino/Filipino". I know you guys have way too different stories than us. Maybe we don't even share the same upbringing but if you really want to associate yourself with our rich culture,
please start by studying the language itself and the histories revolving around our genders. To coin another term to fit the western standards is somehow dismissive of who you are. You are a Filipino. You are gender neutral. Embrace that shit.(no, im not conservative. fuck them.)
Kayo naman mga mamser, dahan-dahan sa mga talak. Intindihin natin kung bakit nangyayari at kung bakit kailangan ituro kung ano 'yung tama. Talak with puso mga mumsh. At saka remember #MassTestingNowPH #JUNKTERRORBILLNOW! Lamang ang may alam
