With nine clean sheets in GW30 already, I'm wondering if this is the time to revert back to the "big at the back" movement at the start of the year?
Here's my thoughts on a few that I'm considering for my GW31 Wildcard..
Let me know what you think!

Liverpool:
VVD is in my opinion the most nailed starter at Liverpool. He will most certainly be in my WC team alongside TAA. With regards to TAA, I think he could see some rotation, but when he plays he's on set pieces and always in and around BPS

Wolves:
WHU were poor, but I was impressed with WOL performance defensively & offensively. Doherty is the defender that offers attacking returns but with a great set of fixtures I wouldn't be adverse to doubling him up with a Boly/Saiss

Can't take too much from that game against United. We know Jose likes to keep things tight, wondering if he will open up and offer more attack moving forward. At 4.9m, Aurier should be on your watchlist! 7 assists to his name this season!

Man Utd:
United's fixtures are fantastic. Owning a defender will take up one of the attacking slots but I do fancy them to get a few clean sheets. Maguire is most nailed to start but I was impressed with positions that Shaw got into vs TOT

Crystal Palace:
Solid performance from Palace in attack and defence against a poor Bournemouth side. PVA is renowned for ending a season strongly and he showed every sign of it being the case this season with a 12 pointer Vs BOU. Sadly closing fixtures are not great..

Newcastle:
Another clean sheet for the toon against SHU. Ritchie, playing out OOP with a cracking goal, owned by only 0.3% of the game and as far as we know is on penalties. I prefer Lascelles for 1.0m cheaper..but Ritchie is defo one to consider!

Everton:
Mason Holgate at just 4.3m represents good value, another solid performance last night he's becoming one of Carlo's favourites! Everton fixtures look good, I could definitely see them picking up a few clean sheets!

Pep roulette is the issue here! I think there's less risk of rotation in defence than attack so the smart move might be owning Ederson tbh! But if it's a defender you want then I'd go Laporte or Mendy..
