here are just some things that i think its important to have in mind everytime you read about a celebrity or someone you know being accused of sexual crimes
1) investigations of the cases that are reported are EXTREMELY tiring and triggering. depositions can take literal +

straight hours and questions can be really tricky and insensitive, which certainly is not something anyone, specially a victim, needs after being abused. they& #39;ll ask what hour and minutes were when it happened and how long did it took, why didnt u scream for help, why did u take+
so long to report it, and some even joke about it. it& #39;s not rare at all when police doesn& #39;t help victims with shit. bc it& #39;s so tiring and triggering, a lot of victims back out of the accusations bc they can& #39;t stand that shit any longer and prefer to not get the justice they +
deserve bc they want so desperately to heal. so keep that in mind to not assume sexual crimes didn& #39;t happen bc victims took the accusations out or "admitted" to lie or contradict themselves.
2) yall know victims that expose their abusers get threated very frequently, and with a lot of media wanting a piece of their trauma to sell a headline is even worse. victims get known for being victims, mocked and attacked for it. even closed ones, family, teachers do it. +
now imagine that combined with a legion of people that already are fans of the abuser. only a few people get to risk their lifes like to make false allegations, bc it really aint worth it. which takes me to my third point of this thread that is +
3) rape or sexual assault or domestic violence allegations never ruined anyone& #39;s carrer, even if they did people would still prefer not to believe or "disconnect the artist from the art" and still support their works like they& #39;re doing with 6ix9ine that was charged +
with community service and a letter to her family for a sexual crime against a 13 year old girl which he posted on social media and later said it was "for his image". fresh out of jail and he already has news songs and one of them features nicki minaj, he also broke +
a new record of views on his official youtube and instagram accounts. and all of that after a sexual crime he addmited on, so you can imagine what other celebrities that denies their accusations can be up to in the future. keep that in mind.
