This past week has been very eye opening to me & after the Town Hall last night, I have to say how disappointed I am. I’ve had this idea that this community was much more inclusive & was wildly mistaken. Town Hall, & if I feel the way that I’m feeling after it I can’t even imagine how you all must feel after so long. I truly hope for something beautiful to come from all of this bc I am so in love with the people I have met through my years of visiting, & now calling Chicago home.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around everything and continuing to listen, but I would be extremely remiss if I didn’t say anything. Also, @LucyStoole & Shimmy were amazing hosts and mediators. I hope other communities take this example.
