Hi @PeelPolice, on behalf of my neighborhood I just wanted to take a minute to let you know you failed us.

I thought you were different but I was wrong. In just 24 hours I witnessed brutality, unprofessionalism, media dishonesty, and unacceptable behaviour. #JusticeForEjaz

Every single one of you took an oath. To protect and serve, not invade and kill. As law enforcement professionals I’m in shock at the way the team dealt with a 62 year old mentally ill father of 4. Is that what you call protecting? Was that really the only way? No it wasn’t.

What was the rush to barge in a room he barricaded himself in? There was no hostages, no immediate threats or danger to others. The only life that was at risk was his own! And instead of receiving the help he needed, he got the complete worst possible opposite. #JusticeForEjaz

Don’t even get me started with how you lied to the media. “Police would not say which weapons the man may of had”. NO YOU KNOW HE DIDNT HAVE A GUN AND DONT WANT TO ADMIT YOUR OFFICER WAS WRONG!!!! Instead of owning up you tried to cover your tracks. Sickening. #JusticeForEjaz

I’m ending this thread with this. We want #JusticeForEjaz, we want change, and we want to feel safe again. @PeelPolice no more excuses, no more pretending you’re not wrong. Admit your system and officer’s are flawed and work towards a better solution.
