A thread of some police brutality victims in Las Vegas, NV:

On New Years 2015 Keith Childress was shot 5 times due to the US Marshall lying and saying he was armed & wanted for attempted murder. He had his phone in his hand when Sgt. Bohana and Officer Waldorf shot him and released their police dogs on him and they tore into his backside

April 12 2012 Sharmel Edwards boyfriend reported his car stolen & that he had a gun inside it. Officer Edwards went searching for the car & asked her to come out. 5 officers shot at her, officers claim she pointed a gun at them but a witness says she had her hands on her head.

On Sept 5 2019 Byron Williams was stopped for no lights on his bike. Officer Campbell and Vasquez arrested him and put pressure on his back & he said he can’t breathe 21 times. They turned their body cams off for 15 min. When they turned them back on his body was lifeless

July 14, 2011 Rafael Olivas had health conditions that lead to having a nervous breakdown. His mother tried calling the police for help.Instead of deescalating the situation they killed him. She states that Rafael never pointed the knife at them & failed to provide medical aid.

Jorge Gomez was at a BLM protest on June 1st, 2020. He was open carrying and was shot 19 times by Sgt. Fryman, Officer Emerton, Ferguson and Locher. They say Jorge charged at him with his gun but no body cams were on at the time.

On Mother’s Day 2017, Tashii Brown approached officers at the Venetian & told them somebody was chasing him in response they chased him. Officer Lopera tased him 7 times, punched him in the head & put him in a chokehold. Died due to asphyxia but they blamed his death on drug use

On August 20 2010, LVMPD was pursuing Trevon Cole but the warrant they had was for a different Trevon. They busted in his door and Detective Yant shot and killed him with his hands up. They lied and said he lunged at him but evidence came up to disprove that.
