Twitter is just full of people who are bad friends.
People on this website will drop friendship over anything. Over drama that doesn& #39;t involve them. Over clout or lack thereof. Over politics. Over the most harmless of tweets. Over not enough interaction. Over petty arguments.
Over rumors. Over communities. Over interests. Literally pick something, and in my seven years here, I& #39;ve seen it all.

I& #39;ve lost friends for each and every one of these reasons and more.

I& #39;m starting to think you simply can& #39;t make good friends on this part of twitter.
For those of you who say you& #39;re my good friend, thank you, but I can point to each of you at least one person we both know that has cut me off for a stupid reason. And ironically, I& #39;ve found those who say they& #39;re closest to you are sometimes the ones who cut and run over nothing.
And I think the worst part is that I internalized this. I said, if everyone left, it must be my fault. I& #39;m the problem, I& #39;m too confrontational, I& #39;m too picky, I& #39;m too... whatever.

BUT I& #39;M NOT!!!!!!!!

I& #39;m a great friend!!! I& #39;ve never once given up on someone I say is my friend.
If I say I love you, I do. If I love you, I& #39;m always there for you, always have been and always will be. I& #39;m not perfect, I can& #39;t always be present, but when people need me, you can count on me. And I& #39;m proud of it!!!
I hold my friends to high standards and will slap them into shape if they mess up, but that& #39;s something friendship is for!!! And if you& #39;re afraid to do this, or cut people off instead of talking, that& #39;s a "you" problem, not theirs.
I just want friends to be good to each other.
