Brief thread. Turkey vs Egypt in terms of military strength.

First is Naval Strength. The 2 Mistral helo carriers provide an advantage, but Turkey has far more in each other category.

In terms of air power, Egypt has more fixed wing aircraft, but about half as many helicopters as Turkey.

Egypt has a numerical advantage in terms of AFV/IFVs, far more rocket arty & tanks. Turkey only has more SPHs. The main advantage Egypt has here is that any Turkish units delivered to the fight would have to be transported by air or sea. Egypt just has to hop the Libyan border.

Turkey may have more active personnel, but Egypt has almost twice the military-aged populace available for drafts than Turkey does. This would steer Turkey towards wanting a shorter conflict rahrer than a protracted one.
