Today I’ve been sworn in as Minister for Employment; Innovation, Medical Research and the Digital Economy; and Small Business. I’m excited about the task ahead and acutely aware of the profound difficulty being faced by so many businesses and the people who depend on them.
I thank @DanielAndrewsMP for entrusting this work to me and I look forward to connecting quickly with these sectors.

There are few things more important to people than having stable secure employment. It is the foundation upon which so much of our lives are built.
Innovation, the digital economy and medical research are our future, no matter what we do or where we live; the creativity and ingenuity of these sectors is central to Victoria’s future prosperity.
To the people who build, maintain, strengthen and operate our roads, thank you. To the road safety campaigners who have lost loved ones, you have been and will remain an inspiration. To the boaters, we have made a great start on big reform; to the fishers - it has been a blast 😘
