Jickling Lyman & Powell, Detroit Trade Center (1967) Detroit, MI

Maybe the most ominous brutalist building in Downtown Detroit. Originally built as an office and logistics hub for international trade between Detroit and Windsor, later sold to the State of Michigan.
Another tower was added to the complex in 1975, clad in glass and brown aluminum panels, very similar to the DTE Headquarters down the street. The complex has the misfortune of being one of the only skyscrapers cut off from the rest of Downtown by the Lodge Freeway.
