why im , sadly, not racefaking (thread)

heres the ¥100,000 per person stim check that my brother and i have in our bank acc. you cant become a japanese citizen as a minor, and only japanese citizens can get it. i honestly shouldnt have to try and prove anything in the first place though

my dad speaks english fluently and has since i was a kid. when i was young (around 5-7 or someth?) my family moved to america for my dads job. he used to drill into my head "if u wanna be successful in america, learn english"

i do, i just do a good job of hiding it. i wasnt ever taught english in america and what i did learn was useless so ive been self-taught my entire life. i used to want to be a seiyuu as a kid so it helped me practice pronouncing english ..

i do mess up my Ls and Rs, i also mix in japanese words in my speech without thinking. i work really hard to avoid it, though. i play most games (apex, etc) with english voices so i can get a feel for it. ive started taking english classes irl, too

i was born in osaka, near bentenchou station. my dads always been busy so he left me with my relatives a lot there. my family (mom, dad, brothers) moved to america later. my parents got divorced in america, and now i live in japan (not osaka, though)

i think people accuse me of racefaking because of the racism surrounding japanese people. anime fans and weebs like to think that japanese ppl are untouchable, so when they speak english/discuss politics/etc, they tend to turn a blind eye or suck up to them

tldr; people cant accept that a japanese person speaks english because of the way anime and weebs have started to idolize japanese people and when that japanese person doesnt "fit their ideal", they want to discredit them (ie: calling me a racefaker)

i wont post any selfies of myself either because people will be like DURR ur not japanese. im really really pale because ive been a hikikomori for a while now (lol). my dad doesnt look japanese at all for some reason despite our surrounding family looking pretty "normal"
