I've been in Brooklyn 3 summers, w 3 years before in the Bronx, and over 30 years in New York City (born and bred).

These fireworks are not the normal fare.

They're not folks having fun or kids being obnoxious.

They started after curfew ended, & the helicopters (mostly) backed off.

There are too many (no one around here has $$ to drop on this many & this high quality), happening too often (12 hrs a day, everyday for 2 weeks).

Intervals spaced enough to keep tension and raise anxiety.

This feels like a coordinated effort to terrorize/punish the people in the city.

They are escalating.
