Rewatching Teen Wolf and I forgot how awkward and bad the first episode was. The special effects are so cringey. But let’s make this a thread!
#CharRewatchesTW
The first episode already has the baseball bat as the most reliable weapon. Scott has awfully cringey lines. Jackson is such a jerk. And I love Stiles ❤️
#CharRewatchesTW
Heh. The inconsistencies from what will eventually be canon. It’s really funny to watch this knowing what will happen in the future and how the special effects don’t actually get much better

I have a lot of questions that I know will never get resolved. Mostly about Peter Hale in his alpha form.

But mostly, I’m in awe of the character development Lydia has from Season 1 to Season 6. She’s almost an entirely different person.

Motel California will always be one of my favorite episodes. Something about it also appeals to my true crime loving side and I will always remember this as one of the strongest moments of Scott and Stiles’ friendship.
#CharRewatchesTW
Also, just the acting in this episode. It’s great. I love how well done the writing is and how each character gets to challenge their fears and strengthen their bond as a pack. The flare gun scene is just ❤️

Derek somehow healing himself from fatal injuries by having sex is one of the most Derek Hale things that could ever happen on this show. I mean, he was having sex with a witch, so it kinda makes sense.

Season 3B is the peak of Teen Wolf's storytelling and nothing can convince me otherwise. 3A was decent, but 3B truly showcases Dylan O'Brien's acting range. The Nogitsune is one of, if not the best villain the show has ever had.
#CharRewatchesTW
The only other season that might compare in storytelling is Season 5, but again, it has to do with Dylan O'Brien's acting skills. Other than that, the show's writing is kinda confusing.

Kinda forgot how quickly Stiles and Malia got it on. In a basement. On a dingey couch. In a...terrible, really awful place. I’ve never known how to feel about this being in the same episode as Eichen House main introduction
#CharRewatchesTW
Okay, it's not that I love Void Stiles. I don't. Void Stiles was a killer and a manipulative person and honestly he was the Nogitsune. I just love Dylan O'Brien's acting as Void Stiles.

Now that I'm thinking about it, 3B is one of the reasons I got interested in Japanese mythology in the first place. It's kinda the only reason I know anything about Kitsune and Nogitsune
#CharRewatchesTW
Also, leave it to Teen Wolf to have an Asian family make a "Asian don't raisin" joke because at this point, we don't know how old any of the supernatural creatures are.
#CharRewatchesTW
But.....they still can’t say all the Japanese words and names correctly so really, how impressed should I be with this?
#CharRewatchesTW
Yup. 3B will always be the peak of Teen Wolf’s storytelling. Allison’s final scene, Stiles’ divine move, Scott crying in his mom’s arms, Lydia clinging to Stiles for comfort - this will always be the part of Teen Wolf people remember most
#CharRewatchesTW
So how come Malia can’t do something like, not maul people or fit in, but she can dance in a club really natrually?
#CharRewatchesTW
Okay I had to come back to this thread because I realized I haven’t tweeted anything about my rewatching since Season 4 started. But I’m on Season 6 now and I’m mad that it started with Liam and Hayden because I despise them as a couple
