This racist logic also extends to every level of the "justice" system. They don't let black judges handle cases about race. They don't let black people on juries in many cases about race. Somehow only white people are assumed to be unbiased. https://twitter.com/YahooNews/status/1274839606425518080
In a system that produces as many racial disparities as ours how can anyone think it is solely the black officers who are impacted? With all the racial abuses in the system no one has ever banned white officers from overseeing black prisoners? Interesting.
It's funny right? A black person accused of murder is seen as an indictment on the entire black race no matter the color of his victim. And yet a white police officer murders a black man on film and the ability to deal with him professionally is an indictment on the black race.
Ugh. This is so insulting. This country is death by a thousand cuts when you're black.
WAIT. One more big thing. Sorry my mind is spinning.

You know what this means? That they KNOW the role of the guards is to abuse prisoners and mistreatment is VERY possible. But some sort of kinship with THIS prisoner makes them want to be VERY certain he's NOT abused.
The white officers who work in the prison are expected to be able to relate to this man who did this horrendous crime in a way that will keep him safe. What are the similarities between the white officers and Chauvin that explains this?
Your commanding officer thinks you have more in common with a white man who slowly murder a black man on camera unrepentantly... than your fellow officers who are not white. How are YOU not insulted?
