A thread about how "Flashpoint" would actually work as the first DCEU Flash solo movie✨
Zack Snyder has mentioned that his version of Justice League allegedly features a Flash time travel before the end of the tape. Assuming that the Snyder Cut takes the place of the Josstice League as the JL canonical tape, then for the Flash tape, he will have already (1/5)
learned of his time travel ability, and would work together with Victor (Cyborg) to further explore this side of his powers, as shown in his cameo in Crisis on Infinite Earths, where he is in Speedforce along with the Flash by Grant Gustin. (2/5)
It should also be emphasized that this version of Barry is just a rookie who started his career as a Flash a short time ago, and traveling to the past to save his mother without taking into account the possible side effects of the trip sounds like something (3/5)
quite logical for this Flash, unlike the one in the comics and the Arrowverse, who were already two much more advanced heroes. He would ask himself: "If I have this ability to go to the past and now I can control it, how about I use my speed to travel to the past and save (4/5)
my mother from being killed?", and then he would travel to the past and save her. After returning everything to normal (or closest to it) he would learn an important lesson regarding his powers that would help him grow more as a hero and as a person as well. (5/5)
