i’m sick of seeing this jump of men w a large social media following ‘coming out’ on mistreating women now all of a sudden. all the language is the same. it’s centralized on their feelings and not the victims, “i was awful to women... i had terrible self-esteem” ect.
they make it seem as if the act of them even speaking up on what they did should be seen as ‘it was all in the past, i’m better now’ like, good for you that YOU’RE over it, now how about the victims that were scared to ever come out and had to live through their trauma for years?
stop protecting these men who still continue to use language that continuously makes them out to be a victim for their own behavior on traumatizing women, idc if they hated themselves in the past that’s not an excuse to abuse anyone. i’m just so disgusted https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙃" title="Auf den Kopf gestelltes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Auf den Kopf gestelltes Gesicht">
