10 minutes is a long time to watch your husband dying underneath your hands. I thought about many things during those chest compressions 6 weeks ago. One of them was today.
I thought I’d be spending this Father’s Day grieving with my kids that they would never see their daddy again. Trying to remember what each of our last words and moments with him had been. Worrying about how I would manage to support and raise them alone.
Instead, we are having a wonderfully normal day loving and celebrating @DGlaucomflecken for all he does and means to us. I will forever be grateful to a stranger named Lisa, the 911 dispatcher who shared those 10 minutes with me and ultimately saved his life.
