I just had a thought whilst listening to TXT’s discography. You see, Nap Of The Star played and then Magic Island player and it got me thinking, what if the TU mvs are just parts of the storyline when the boys are simply on Magic Island. So that would mean, pretty much all-
-the mvs take part in the universe anyways. Because they have to right? And it also means the other mvs that aren’t marked as a TU MV take place in the “reality” or human world. But what about Runaway? They were on the island in that MV right? And can’t you see me is probably-
-them on the island right? HENCE THIS: ‘Ceci n’est pas un nounours’, aka “it is not a bear. The creator of the original piece ‘ceci n’est pas une pipe’ said that it means the pipe in the painting is a manifestation-
-of a pipe since he would be lying if he said that the pipe in the drawing was an actual pipe, because it’s not. So, here’s my suggestion, the magic island that the boys find in Runaway is a manifestation of the magic island. But I know some of you are wondering “but what about-
-in magic island when they were in the human world?” Well I never said they can’t be in the human world in the time mvs.
This is where I get a bit wild and connect something that came out today, that’s related to BTS. This photo below is from the graphic lyrics. The door could-
be a doorway between the manifestation Magic Island and the real Magic Island. This is all just speculation tho since we don’t know what’s behind that door. +
However, I want to suggest this:on one side is the place where TXT were, was on the manifestation island and on the other side was the real island, where gfriend are.We all 100% know gfriend-
-grew up on the island and they have a stronger connection to it than the others since (possible only one or two)members know/remember the way to the island.
(again if you haven’t read my 100+ thread, then I’m not forcing you to read it but if you wanna know where my mind is-
going I would). In my opinion, Eunha and SinB are the two members that are more likely to remember everything. Eunha is mainly the one we see heading to the door in the TFTML trailer 2. I also think it’s really interesting how in TFTML we see the girls going to the same place-
after going back in time and the door isn’t there. Maybe it’s because TXT burnt it. On the other side. 👀 but what about BTS, do they get to the magic island? Well, in Spring Day there is the scene with the tree and they are in a similar area as to where Eunha and the girls were-
-however, this is a part of the manifestation island. So the way they got to this place is via the universe’s platform 9 & 3/4 or the train portal. So far, I think we’ve seen all the groups do this. I’ll slowly analyse each group and then do a quick conclusion:
BTS-SPRING DAY
Ok so I started screen recording from here but when you watch the whole mv, we see Jungkook following Namjoon. But that wasn’t the Namjoon we saw before, that’s a Namjoon from the past. Which is important because it shows that each boy knows the way to the-
-portal/manifestation island well, which means not only do they share a connection to it but they’ve been there many times. I think the scene where Jungkook is about to light the match but then time rewinds isn’t to do with the island, for now at least, that’s mainly to do with-
-Jin’s power which was given to him by the cat. But anyways, the boys have been to the island before. And as you can see, the place where the boys go to is a similar, if not the same place, that gfriend went to in TFTMN trailer. I remember seeing that some people noticed as well-
-that the TXT boys took their concept photos for Port Version in the same place as G-Friend filmed TFTMN trailer. But maybe I’ll get into that later. For now, take from Spring Day that the boys have a connection to the manifestation Island and they also have been there many times-
-also here’s a pic of Hobi also closing his eyes on a train individually:
Just another reminder, the main members we see having their eyes closed are HOBI, JUNGKOOK AND NAMJOON. But I think Yoongi also does because his scene on the clothes piles ends with him closing his eyes so that could just be his thoughts or a dream state world or soemthing? But-
-mainly Namjoon, Hobi and Jungkook have their eyes closed. I haven’t exactly been 100% into the BTS universe as much as the txt universe so I don’t remember if these 3 share anything in common. But I think it’s key that Jungkook was the one that started the rebellion-
-by blowing the conch in ON. ANYWAYS, I’m getting side tracked so let’s focus on the groups and then closing their eyes on trains to manifesto Magic Island. I’ll move onto G-Friend now! +
G-FRIEND-LOVE WHISPER
So it’s very subtle in this MV but I think the scenes show before and after their on the train are very key. Let me explain with lots of detail. We’ll start from where they get to the train station. I think it’s very key that Eunha is excited. She-
-is definitely one that knows where they’re going and it’s just the way she looks at her ticket gives this “we’re going somewhere magical” vibe. Now, when they’re on the train, at first, there are solo shots of the members in the little house that they were in at the start,where-
-Yerin finds the Radio. However, there is one extra shot of Eunha that’s not in the house and I think that that could be her on the island, hence her already knowing where they are going. Then, they’re on the train and we see them dancing in the lake, which is also a part of the-
-magic island. The girls grew up on the island and were born with a glass bead, and the village lake gives the children of the villages a small gift/present.
So this scene represents them moving from reality/human world to the manifesto Magic Island. Then we see them all get-
-scenes on the island. This is shown by the switch between nature and reality. But in the MV, there are scenes of reality-like places and I think that connects to the idea that the island is a society. +
I’m running out of tweets so I’ll tweet this for now. But what I want to say quickly is Time for the moon night is a lowk mess and I’m gonna break it apart very slowly so the rest of this thread will take a while to upload.
G-FRIEND-TIME FOR THE MOON NIGHT
I couldn’t fit it all in, no matter how hard I tried rip. Anyways, I’ll start now. So, this definitely takes place a few years after Love Whisper, and the girls are sad. Why? Because their friendship is being torn apart. That’s just a well-known-
-thing in the universe that the girls are jealous of eachother. First because of their powers, when they were younger and on the island, but now because of eachother’s friendships. There is selfishness within the girls. So they are lonely and then Eunha uses her Navillera to-
-bring them all together, going back to the time before Umji dies and before they tear apart, which is in their home, where they’re cuddling and playing together. (But Sowon still leaves in crossroads) Anyways, they’re together now and Eunha goes to the door for Magic Island-
-but the girls follow her this time. So they’re on Manifesto Island(I’m calling it this for now)They head to the door but of course, it’s not there (and this is after TXT burns the door I believe) SO, they go and it’s not there. And then we see Yerin sad. The other girls are-
-not acting sad but they all probably are. However, Eunha is definitely more sad because we see her sad afterwards. Perhaps she was acting strong for Yerin, who almost killed k worded themself ☹️ +
Eunha being sad a lot is definitely important because she loved the island. It was their home, for as far as she can remember. She probably has a moment of denial and heads back to where the door was but the girls again follow her/find her. However, it’s really weird because-
-it seems like Eunha is “possessed” so maybe the cat is possessing her too, or maybe she’s the star or something? Idk, it’s very creepy. I need some more people’s insight on this.
And finally we will finish this with TXT’s Magic Island and Runaway.
The boys talk about lots of things on the train:
1. Soobin’s dreams/nightmares.
2. The Practice Room Ghose.
3. Going to Ttukseom/Manifesto Island. (They think it’s Magic Island) +
Now we’ve gotten this far but I just need to remind you all that closing your eyes is important. It’s one of the rules of going to Manifesto (Magic) Island. So remember that Yeonjun broke the rules, and that probably alerted the cat straight away. So the cat is aware that they’re-
-on the island. Then this scene with the cat train happens after they set the forest on fire. Now remember that this forest is NOT magic island. They are on Manifesto Island. The first thing the boys come across when they get off the island is beautiful trees and a lake. They-
-arrived at the manifesto version of society. However, this could cause as a problem since the boys could remember their memories. Luckily for the cat, we see the boys head into the forest instead. Or is that unlucky? The forest has a telescope. The same one as the one that they-
-played with the star. So the boys could still remember their past on Magic Island. Therefore, the fire wasn’t started by them, but the cat and then the cat punished them. But even then, that didn’t work because we learn that after that moment, the boys regained their memories. +
By the way, another quick side note. This visit to Manifesto Island is not their first visit. Their first visit to Manifesto Island is via the door in runaway. But why is it a door? I don’t 100% know but I think it might’ve been that the cat slipped up. Whilst it was warning the-
-boys with the fire that followed them in the human world, they head to the pool, where they are called to the island because of the bright light/connection. (I didn’t organise this thread well but I hope some of you who actually are reading this are getting what I’m saying) +
Anyways, like I said, the first time they got to Manifesto Island, Yeonjun (accidentally) burnt the door. That was already strike one for him and he knows that he made a mistake. Then, Taehyun takes the bear, which is a manifestation of their pains, linking that the Manifestation-
-Island is not only a manifestation but also a place where things can become manifestations. Then, the boys return to the human world but in Magic Island, Yeonjun opens his eyes. That’s strike 2 (for wat we know) and this is why Yeonjun is guilty in TDCE. +
Let me conclude what I have for now:
1. BTS have been to Manifesto Island, individually and together. The amount of times is unknown.
2. G-FRIEND have been to Manifesto Island, individually and together. The amount of times is unknown and they have also probably gone back to-
-Magic Island a few times, but we only know of Love Whisper and possibly the moment in TFTMN trailer. Eunha is acting weird after the door burnt down?
3. TXT have been to Manifesto Island 2 times(so far in what I’ve analysed) and they are the ones that burnt the door,on accident-
-and Yeonjun has 2 strikes due to breaking the rules to get to Manifesto Island.
I think one weird thing to note is how did BTS and TXT know to close their eyes. Perhaps, because of their connection with the island, they naturally closed their eyes to get there. I also haven’t-
-mentioned the purpose of Manifestation Island and I’ll get to that in a bit. Let me continue quickly summarising what we know so far.
4. On one side of the door is the open moor-like field and on the other is Magic Island, a forest like area.A field. It’s hard to see in Runaway-
-because it’s quite dark.
So finally, I’m going to suggest what Manifestation Island’s purpose is.
Manifestation Island is simply part of bighit’s version of platform 9 and 3/4. Not the answer you wanted, huh? Or maybe it’s more than that. Maybe, Manifestation Island is a bad-
-place. It seems like it could be. Jungkook was standing with a carousel in Spring Day and we know that Hobi was left at one when he was young. Also, Jimin hangs the shoes on a tree and, although we don’t know who’s shoes they are exactly.Perhaps, they have a bad memory to them-
-from the past, when they were young. One thing I want to say is that Hobi’s mum left him at that carousel, which is in Manifesto Island so perhaps, Manifesto Island is a place where people are gotten rid of. Which is kinda dark. But if that is true, maybe the war was between-
-the outcasts on Manifesto Island and the stuck up society of Magic Island. Lol that was just a random thought. I really would like to know people’s thoughts but uh, this all was kinda random so feel free to debunk any of it! I’m exhausted now phew 😅
I made a mistake so let me clear so@thing quicky/fix it. The beginning statement about all the TU mvs taking place on Magic Island isn’t true. Because the island that they go to in Magic Island is Manifesto Island and the island they’re in is on Magic Island. So instead, I think-
-the TU mvs just represent them travelling on finding the true Magic Island. So, TU MVs will definitely not or barely be in reality. 👍I definitely there are 2 islands for sure and if you haven’t seen my siren and Greek mythology thread, please check it out. No one reads my -
-theories tho 😭
I MESSED UP SO BAD IN THIS THREAD. Please ignore the bit where I said that Yeonjun earned a strike on Manifesto Island and that the boys have been to Manifesto Island. They haven’t!!! They were on Magic Island!!! That’s where Yeonjun earns the first strike RIP 😭
