Just a not so friendly reminder that someone can be an abuser even if they are nice to YOU. Your experience with them =/ not the experience of every single person they’ve interacted with. Stop telling victims “well he was always nice to me.”

Stop using your interactions to invalidate a survivor’s trauma.

“well he didn’t rape me” cool? He doesn’t deserve a gold star for NOT raping you, and it sure as hell doesn’t mean he didn’t rape someone else.

An abuser is still an abuser if they abuse ONE person and are “nice” to everyone else.

this thread is about all the celebs being exposed this week, but you know, it relates to your life and the people you personally know too. stop victim-blaming.
