People genuinely should spend more time educating themselves on ADHD and how consuming it can be. Having #ADHD is exhausting. It’s a never ending feeling of constantly feeling behind in life yet adding more on your plate to justify it.
Every single day is a learning lesson. I feel as though I am constantly taking small mental notes on ways to be a more active listener or ways to be more efficient with my time.
If you have someone in your life who has #adhd be patient with them. Educate yourself on ways to better understand them. Remember that people with ADHD are very likely to develop anxiety and/or depression and are doing the best they can.
In the same way that #adhd may be exhausting, it is also beautiful. I may never feel complete but it’s for that reason that I know I will never stop growing.
And for the love of god, if you don’t have ADHD, stop telling your friends with ADHD about how you took an adderall “and got so much shit done!” It’s insensitive as most people with #adhd feel rather numb due to medication and still struggle even when they’re medicated.
