Ammar wasn't the only faculty member at FCC to be fired. At least 4 other faculty members have been let go recently. He is clearly misrepresenting FCC decision, just to make himself a martyr. I really hope my alma mater doesnt give space to intellectually dishonest academics. https://twitter.com/AdnanSHaider/status/1274562877064712192
Getting political visibility & media coverage should not be a criteria for hiring academics. One must look at academic output. These political hirings do not suit a prestigious institution like IBA and its name should not be tarnished. Excellent academics out there, hire them
Has anyone taken FCC's version before concluding that Ammar was unfairly fired. Is there no due diligence in this country? Can we cite his last 4 papers before making job offers, or is social media clout the only basis for hiring now? What are his achievements as an academic?
Furthermore, please check how Ammar was hired at FCC in the first place. Was there a public advertisement for the position he was offered? Were rules followed?
Plz also properly investigate why he was let go by PU instead of taking all his allegations at face value.
