Gen 5 were legitimately & objectively some of the best games in the series. Not only did they push the DS to its limits, they did what NO other game post-Kanto did: an ENTIRE Pokedex FILLED with *155* fantastic brand-new Pokemon. Truly legendary games for the franchise. #Gen5
Gen 5 also had a lovely seasons mechanic ( #SawsbuckGang where you at??), true sequels with flashbacks to the prequels if you had the data on your DS, introduced the Dream World & Global Link, animated sprites, triple battles, infinite use TMs, Hidden Abilities, and more. #Gen5
The flashback system (Memory Link) of BW2 really enhanced the story and the characters as well. What was the last Pokemon game with a real compelling story and characters like N and Ghetsis?

Now you& #39;ve got me swooning and really missing Gen 5.
Oh, and how many times have we BEGGED for a real "Hard Mode" in Pokemon games to make them harder for millennial fans who have been playing for decades and want a challenge?

The Gen 5 BW2 key system is the ONLY game in the series with any hint of that.
For anyone wondering, this is the difference between battling Champion Iris in Easy/Normal vs. Challenge Mode.

Challenge Mode increased level and added strong held items (Flying Gem Acrobatics Archeops!!) & stronger movesets. #Gen5 #BW2
Due to popular demand, I& #39;ll add the Pokemon World Tournament of BW2 to this thread, which let you battle champions & gym leaders from past regions in a variety of ways (ex: rental teams, monotype, etc). More special tourneys (ex: w/ VGC champs& #39; teams) could be downloaded too!
