Been organizing pics lately, so gonna share my ranking of the NHL rinks over the next few weeks.
On the rankings:
• I consider there to be 32 rinks w/ Isles having two homes
• Very unscientific; just personal preference
• Focus is on rink, but city quality will play factor

32. NYI - Barclays Center (visited 2/19/17)
What you’ve heard is pretty accurate. Simply not a hockey rink w/ sight lines to prove it.
Upper bowl is steep like many ‘ball venues; also weirdly dark up there.
Brooklyn is sweet, at least.

Should add for consistency:
• With the exception of Tampa and Florida, all rinks accessed via public transit (train, bus, Uber)
• Sat in the upper bowl of each rink because I’m cheap
• Concessions played very little role in rankings (again, cheap)
