What an epic fail the Mueller investigation was. Not because Mueller & team did not provide massive evidence of Trump's serial wrong-doing. Because they did. But because they stopped where they did, limited it as they did, capitulated to the obstructors of justice as they did.

No president has ever committed a crime as heinous, betrayed the American people so completely and neither Mueller nor those on his team, having produced clear evidence this was true--stopped well short of their responsibilities in investigating those crimes and prosecuting them.

I've said this before. Others have said it before. But it is a legacy that haunts us all...because failing to hold this president accountable for that original sin (and failing to expose the reasons he was so easily compromised)...and has had such devastating consequences.
