What’s appalling given the writer experience is:

He seem to miss that every mature language has its own share of WTFs/Gotchas

Nodejs that he is advising against as a lot of redeeming qualities, unparalleled performance unmatched by any dynamic language, community & ecosystem

Best write one once run anywhere of any PL, it’s universality both in browser and server, flexible multi-paradigm system that you can bend to your will

Same goes for any language, php has phFPM that you will almost never run into memory issue, python for ease (japrontos) etc
