1. ENTITLEMENT
Just because we serve the same God does NOT mean I have to give you attention. Boys grow up in church being praised and treated like gold while girls often go through heavy scrutiny. Just because everyone else gives you want you want, doesn’t mean I have to.

Church mothers call y’all the future bishops and pastors of a church and so you think your Clark Kent with a cross on so you can pull whoever you want. It doesn’t work in the real world. Truth is, you want someone to feed your ego. Not a partner.
2. SHELTERED
In most cases y’all are super sheltered. You’re already groomed to be the next TD Jakes and so you generally have no experiences outside of the church you attend. You’ve never been expected to thrive outside of a church environment. Women don’t have that privilege.

In most cases y’all have never had to face real world problems because church sheltered you. Women aren’t protected. So a woman will not be attracted to a man who doesn’t know how to protect her much less himself.
3. MISOGYNY
Don’t scroll over this. The church worldwide has traditionally demonized women. The way we dress, lead, behave, etc. Y’all were raised in environments where women were silent and degraded over a pulpit. So you see women as objects instead of people.

Thennnn when a woman comes along that doesn’t tolerate your misogyny. You start whining about submission. Relax my guy.
The church told y’all that you were better superior to women, and that women were your sexual objects and that marriage was the cure for lust. Y’all want a woman to compliment your image of what you think a man of God is. Totally ignoring who she is as a person.

Y’all HATE to be challenged and hate to be wrong. And that stems from being sheltered and being treated like a golden boy your whole life. When a woman comes along that outranks you spiritually or challenged your way of thinking you immediately get defensive.

Your churchified idea of manhood has you thinking that you are the epitome of wisdom, knowledge, and spirituality. You cannot be corrected. And when someone confronts your ignorance you shut down. Women must bow to your superior mind and be silent when you talk.

The truth is, your insecure in your own manhood. Confident women are a threat to the delicate structure of your ego and that is why you’ll lust after what you don’t have the nerve to engage.
INTERMISSION
In summary, church boys and men of God are not synonymous terms. Men of God reflect Jesus. Church boys reflect... well, the men in their church. Usually their pastors.
A woman of God will always be attracted to a man who is a reflection of God. Not a denomination.
