Why Labour needs to back monarchism. A thread

The Queen is a cultural icon for Britain. As recent opinion polls have shown, the working classes which our party represents overwhelmingly support Her Majesty. As we are a party of the working classes we should too!

The Queen benefits the tourism industry which is a gain for workers across Britain contributing a much needed boost to our economy! Something that our key workers rely on

Britain's working class needs a champion, someone who is apolitical. During Tory governments a political monarch can act as a check and balance on the right wing. Especially when we back the monarchy unconditionalally we will have their support.

Finally Her Majesty is a unifying figure. Someone the working classes can unite around. Working class unity is a core Labour value and therefore we must become the party of the monarchy. God save the Queen!
