I still can’t believe I confronted someone who groomed me and was sexually inappropriate with me as a child and he had the audacity to say he “never looked at me in that way,” “never pursued me,” and his crew/band members don’t “have a culture of that.”
To say those things knowing damn well he used his age and power to manipulate me into sending him nudes as a minor is beyond lame. Guess this convo talking to my friend about it as a teenager was made up!
To not even have the decency to offer an apology to someone you call a “friend” for grooming them as a teenager...is so gross. Knowing I was likely not the only young girl to be taken advantage of by this man and his friends is very unsettling. Adults, do better.
I shouldn’t have people in my DMs immediately knowing who this is without me even saying their name. It’s sad that it’s so obvious.
Anyways if you’re reading this, be careful of Hoodie Allen and his crew members. Be careful of the music industry in general. I already have people in my DMs sharing similar stories about the predatory behavior his crew displayed towards them when they were underage as well.
I’m receiving reports that hoodie is trying to pin this on his drummer, jimmy, despite multiple girls in my DMs saying hoodie himself was inappropriate with them when they were minors. No accountability. 0/10.
