June 11, 2006: Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas first met at the annual A Time For Heroes charity event. They were introduced by fellow Disney Channel couple, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. Nick and Miley became a couple that same night.
June 20, 2006: Nick Jonas visited Miley Cyrus on the set of TRL while she was cohosting the show with Ashley Tisdale
July 22, 2006: Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas both attended Radio Disney’s Totally 10th Birthday Concert. Nick wore the same shirt he had worn on the day he met Miley, which she said she hated.

March 27, 2007: “Disneymania 5” was released and featured covers by the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus. The Jonas Brothers sang “I Wanna Be Like You” from The Jungle Book, the song that Nick and Miley were supposed to do together at karaoke on the night they met.
April 9, 2007: Miley and Nick both attended the annual Easter Egg Roll in Washington, D.C. This is where they officially ended their “break” and got back together.
April 27, 2007: Miley and Nick spent time together while filming the Disney Channel Games concert in Florida
June 2, 2007: Miley appeared as a special guest to introduce the Jonas Brothers at their concert at Six Flags Magic Mountain
June 20, 2007: Miley Cyrus was photographed outside of a taping for her appearance on Regis & Kelly. Her cellphone background was a picture of her kissing Nick Jonas.
June 26, 2007: Miley’s debut album “Meet Miley Cyrus” was released. She wrote seven of the ten songs, and admitted that most of them were for and about Nick Jonas.
Miley explained that she wrote “GNO” during her break from Nick, but wrote “Right Here” shortly after to make herself feel better. She also said that “Clear” was written about him.
Other songs on Meet Miley Cyrus that are either assumed or confirmed to be about Nick include “See You Again”, “As I Am”, and “Start All Over”.

The Hannah Montana 2 side of the album also included “We Got The Party” ft. the Jonas Brothers as a bonus track.
June 27, 2007: Miley was asked about dating Nick Jonas during a live stream to promote her album. She awkwardly denied that they were dating, and said that they were best friends.
June 30, 2007: Miley Cyrus appeared as a special guest to introduce the Jonas Brothers at their concert at the San Diego County Fair. She was photographed kissing Nick backstage.
July 1, 2007: Miley did an album signing event with Nick’s name written on her hand.
Miley Cyrus would often take pictures with Nick Jonas’ name written on her hand or displayed on a necklace during the early days of their relationship.
July 31, 2007: Miley attended the Jonas Brothers’ self-titled album release concert and party at The Roxy Theatre in LA.

August 7, 2007: The Jonas Brothers’ self-titled sophomore album was released, and included several songs about Nick’s relationship with Miley.
“SOS” includes the line “Hugs are overrated, just FYI” as a reference to what Miley said to Nick when they met. “Hello Beautiful” was written about the physical distance between Nick and Miley in the beginning of their relationship, and the emotional distance during their break.
Other songs on the album that are either confirmed or assumed to be about Nick and Miley’s relationship include “Goodnight and Goodbye”, “Still In Love With You”, “Games”, and “Inseparable”.
“When You Look Me In The Eyes” was originally released in 2005, but had religious undertones. After Nick met Miley, the song was released again with slightly altered lyrics to make it sound more romantic.
The deluxe version of the album, called the “Bonus Jonas Edition”, included a new bonus track “Take A Breath” as well as “We Got the Party” with Hannah Montana.
August 17, 2007: Hannah Montana episode “Me and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas” premiered on Disney Channel. The episode played with Nick and Miley’s real-life relationship, and was used to announce/promote the fact that the Jonas Brothers would be joining Miley on tour.
The episode included a performance of “We Got The Party” by Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers
It was speculated by fans that the dogtag necklace that Miley can be seen wearing in certain scenes was the medical ID necklace that Nick gave to her. Nick can also be seen wearing one throughout the episode.
It was the highest rated episode of Hannah Montana during the show’s four season run, and the only one to reach 10 million viewers during its premiere.
August 26, 2007: Miley and the Jonas Brothers attend the Teen Choice Awards together.

September 16, 2007: Miley gave Nick a bike for his 15th birthday, which she later talked about in an interview with Ryan Seacrest

October 11, 2007: Miley Cyrus appeared on Ellen to promote her upcoming tour. During the interview, she said that Nick was her favorite Jonas Brother.
October 19, 2007: Hannah Montana episode “That’s What Friends Are For?” guest-starring Selena Gomez premiered. The episode was about Miley and Selena’s characters feuding over Miley’s recent ex-boyfriend - accidentally predicting their real-life situation with Nick.
October 26, 2007: The Jonas Brothers appeared on Ellen, and a fan asked Nick if Miley was also his “favorite”
October 2007 - January 2008: Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers toured North America together on the “Best of Both Worlds Tour” - highlights below!
October 17, 2007: Nick and Miley went on their famous “rain date” at City Museum in St. Louis, the day before the opening show of the Best of Both Worlds Tour.

November 18, 2007: Miley and the Jonas Brothers took a break from their tour to attend the American Music Awards. It’s widely speculated that this was the event which inspired the “high heels, red dress” line in Burnin’ Up.
November 23, 2007: Miley celebrated her 15th birthday on stage during a concert in Nashville, TN. The flowers she was given on stage were a gift from the Jonas Brothers, and Nick also gave her a passport holder and a bracelet.
Miley would regularly change the lyrics of “We Got The Party” to say “Radio, let me show you Nick J!” during performances in November - December 2007
November 29, 2007: Miley kissed Nick on the cheek during “We Got The Party” at their concert in Memphis, TN.

December 24, 2007: Nick Jonas wrote “Sorry” in his hotel room to cope with his breakup from Miley Cyrus. He had planned a romantic holiday for them together in NYC, but they broke up the week before Christmas.
December 28, 2007: Miley continued to flirt with Nick on stage during “We Got The Party” even after their breakup.
December 31, 2007: Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers performed “We Got The Party” in Times Square for New Years’ Eve. Miley and Nick stayed distant the entire night.
