it kind of feels like bullshit seeing a non-black artist tweeting ab #BLM despite them having a whole entire video out there that THEY posted on THEIR channel saying the n-word like it’s a joke. oh, and then also referring to place they once lived as ghetto...doesn’t sit right.
I used to stan (which is how I came across the upload on their channel to begin with) definitely wasn’t something I was trying to “dig up”
I’m just so tired. I don’t even want to be a part of this. But @conangray, could you please explain this?

listen- I wanted to believe he was just saying his sisters name (which yes, I know is Megan) like he’d done in the beginning of the video; but, it just didn’t sound like the way it did here...
I honestly sat on this for a while because how much I didn’t want to believe it. I asked for *multiple* opinions from people around me (who don’t even know him) what they heard, and if it sounded like he was saying her name to begin with- a majority didn’t think so.
If I didn’t absolutely believe he said it, I wouldn’t have even begun this thread calling him out and asking for answers.
I’m not just someone who sort of knows him bc I heard Maniac playing on the radio.
I hate to be that person who does this- but I’ve been there since Idle Town. Sunset Season defined last summer for me. I know every lyric off of Kid Krow. I’ve watched all of the interviews, live performances, and uploads from his personal channel up on YouTube- I stanned hard
So, no. I wouldn’t have had this big of a reaction if I just thought he was saying his sisters name.
