They explore different genres & execute them perfectly every time. Their music talks about mental health, the educational system, societal pressures, youth, self love & the economy. Their lyricism is sometimes so complicated that our fan translators struggle to translate songs.

after 7 years and arent even at the peak of their career yet despite all of their success. Theyre known globally as the poc non english speaking group that is sweeping music markets all over the world with a mad loyal fandom. Theyre compared to the beatles can yall cant relate?
3. I listened to 1Ds entire discography and it was quite disappoting imo. To someone who is used to having hiphop, rnb, edm, pop, ballads, rock, latin and a few other genres on one album 1D& #39;s discography sounds really boring and repetitive + the lyrics are well.. boring
4. I didnt watch any MVs from 1D cos i already know theyre nothing compared to the visuals in BTS& #39; mvs. If you wanna call BTS& #39; mvs boring and unaesthetic im just gonna assume you didnt watch a single one. Also i doubt you went through their 60+ mvs :)

6. BTS wouldnt be the same if a member left because 7-1 = 0. Theyve talked about what theyd do if a member would leave and because theyre basically family they would respect and accept their decision. Youre right it not much would probably change but thats because
they wouldnt let a member leaving define them as a band. Why is it a good thing that the band completely changes if a member leaves??
6. If BTS are a local band explain how theyre the best selling artist worldwide. Why are they called the biggest boyband on the planet, global superstars, a worldwide sensation and so on? Explain how theyre one of the few artists to have charted their album at #1 in the top 10
biggest music markets that have an official chart. Explain how their newest album is the second fastest selling album of all time. Also im pretty sure that album also has the 2nd biggest worldwide debut sales this century. Lets not talk about the "1st korean act", "1st asian act"
and "1st group since" "1st group ever" achievements that they have worldwide.

8. I dont know where you got 7 albums from cos they have 18 albums and 5 mixtapes. Anyways BTS have sold over 41 million equivalent album units. Over half of those are physical album sales btw.
9. Ah yes compare the relevance of the mainly white boyband that sung in english and basically had their entire career set for them right from the start to the korean poc group that comes from a company that was unknown and close to bankruptcy at one point back in 2012/2013.
Your group was basically handed everything i mean ofc they still had to work for it but BTS on the other hand brought a struggling and unknown company to the level of companies like samsung and hyundai. They broke into the western market despite of the language barrier & despite
of the west not exactly allowing them to break in just like that. It took them like 3 years to break in but even tho theyre a massive name worldwide & outselling western artists theyre still not exactly welcome there. Theyre still treated different because of racism & xenophobia.
10. BTS wouldnt have needed halsey to have bwl be succesful imo. It was a very local friendly song and wouldve done well even without halsey. Yall seem to think the us is the centre of the world and sure BTS dont really have a hit song there but they dont need one to prove
themselves as a group. Also if we wanna talk about hits their song Spring Day has charted for over 3 years straight in the top 100 of the korean melon music chart without falling off the chart once :) It rises to the top when new music comes ou, during spring and when were mad.
11. Truly musicians my a/ss they didnt even write or produce most of their own sht. Also just so you know were not kids. Majority of us are between the ages 20-50 with families, proper jobs (or studying hard) and stable lives. Also a third of the fandom are boys/men.
I left out a sht ton of info from this thread which annoys me but i dont wanna spend 10 hours typing this proving my point. 1D are cool but BTS are bigger than them get over it please also since you had to make that thread in the first place shows that BTS is a threat to yall <3
